Terms of service
The plain-language terms for using Atelier: your account, fair use, your responsibilities for your clients’ data, and how to leave with everything.
Last updated: 26 October 2026
01About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Kripind Ventures, India (“we”, “us”), which operates Atelier Labs and the Atelier service (“Atelier”). By creating an account or using Atelier, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
If you use Atelier on behalf of a business, you confirm that you can agree to these terms for that business.
02Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including actions by team members you invite.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
03Acceptable use
Please use Atelier fairly and lawfully. You must not:
- break any law, or help anyone else to;
- send spam, unsolicited bulk messages or misleading content;
- upload anything harmful, such as malware, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
- try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or disrupt or overload the service;
- use Atelier to collect personal data without a lawful basis.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules, especially where others are at risk.
04Your responsibilities for your clients’ data
Atelier helps you keep records about your clients and website visitors. For that data, you are responsible as the controller, and we process it on your behalf.
- Make sure you have a lawful basis to collect and keep your clients’ information, and tell them how you use it.
- Follow the professional, confidentiality and record-keeping rules that apply to your practice.
- Respond to your clients’ requests to access, correct or delete their data. We will help you do this.
- Only invite team members who should see client information, and give them the right permissions.
05Your content
You own the content you put into Atelier: your website, your client records, your notes and your messages. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide the service to you.
We don’t claim ownership of your content, and we don’t use it to train AI models.
06AI features
AI features are optional. They make suggestions; you decide whether to use them. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so please review it before relying on it, particularly in anything you share with clients. AI suggestions are not professional, clinical or legal advice.
07Third-party services
Some features rely on other services, such as Stripe, Calendly or WhatsApp. If you connect them, their own terms also apply, and we are not responsible for how those services work.
08Plans and fees
You can use the Free plan without charge, within the limits shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are coming soon. Before you are ever charged, we will show you the price and the billing terms, and you will choose whether to subscribe. Your client records, notes and export are never locked behind a paywall.
09Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep Atelier available and reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need to pause it for maintenance or updates. We will improve and change Atelier over time; if we remove something important you rely on, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
10Ending your account and exporting your data
- You can stop using Atelier and close your account at any time.
- Export your clients, notes and bookings at any time, including before you close your account.
- We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. Unless the law or a safety concern prevents it, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data.
- After an account is closed, we delete its data as described in our privacy policy.
11Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Atelier is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties that are not set out in these terms.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or lost data that could have been avoided by exporting it. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Atelier is limited to the fees you paid us for Atelier in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of India, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. We would always rather resolve a concern by talking first, so please contact us.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the Atelier app before it takes effect. If you keep using Atelier after that, the new terms apply.
